SUM
Sum of numeric values in cells, ranges, or data fields. Non-numeric values (text, blanks, errors) are ignored.

Function syntax
SUM(input1, ...)Arguments:
- input1, …: One or more numbers, cells, ranges, or data fields.
Examples
- SUM(A3:B5) - Sum of numeric values in A3:B5.
- SUM(revenue{}) - Sum of values in the revenue field.
- SUM(revenue{continent{“NA”}, channel{“Retail”}}) - Sum of revenue values where continent is NA and channel is Retail.
- SUM(A1:A5, B1:B5) - Sum of numeric values across both ranges.
- SUM(A1:A5) - If A1:A5 contains
10,"hello",20, blank,5, returns 35. Text and blanks are ignored.
