MIN

Minimum numeric value in cells, ranges, or data fields. Non-numeric values (text, blanks, errors) are ignored.

Function syntax

MIN(input1, ...)

Arguments:

• input1, …: One or more numbers, cells, ranges, or data fields.

Examples

• MIN(C10:E15) - Minimum numeric value in C10:E15.
• MIN(revenue{}) - Minimum value in the revenue field.
• MIN(revenue{continent{“Asia”}, channel{“Online”}}) - Minimum revenue value where continent is Asia and channel is Online.
• MIN(revenue{continent{“Asia”}}, cost{country{“France”}}) - Minimum across Asian revenue and French cost combined.
• MIN(A1:A5) - If A1:A5 contains 10, "hello", 20, blank, 5, returns 5. Text and blanks are ignored.
