DAYS_BETWEEN

Calculates the number of days between two dates.

Function syntax

DAYS_BETWEEN(start_date, end_date)

Arguments:

  • start_date: The starting date.
  • end_date: The ending date.

Examples

  • DAYS_BETWEEN(‘3/4/23’, ‘6/20/25’) - Returns 839.
  • DAYS_BETWEEN(‘3/4/24’, ‘3/4/24’) - Returns 0 because there are no days between the same date.
  • DAYS_BETWEEN(G3, G2) - Number of days between the dates in cells G3 and G2.
  • DAYS_BETWEEN(date{!1}, date{!148}) - Number of days between the first and 148th dates in the date field.
