Returns the day of the month (1–31) for a date.

Examples

• DAY(‘4/15/25’) - Returns 15.
• DAY(D5) - Returns the day number of the month for the date in cell D5.
• DAY(date{!1}) - Returns the day number of the month for the first date in the date field.
